Clinton Hunter
Clint aka ”Coach Clint”, has had a passion and a talent for running and coaching since he was a teenager in Dawnview High School in Gauteng. He excelled in 800m, 1500m, 3000m and Cross Country running and earned Eastern Transvaal colours for 800m and for Cross Country. He was captain of the Athletics and Cross Country teams and received full school colours for these. At this time, Clint decided to coach the teams himself as there was no coach available for the school, and discovered that he loved helping other athletes to improve their performance and reach their potential.
After school, Clint studied Exercise Science at the Institute of Fitness Professionals in 1994. He continued to coach athletes, even though this was not his primary occupation, as he still enjoyed helping others to reach their potential. During this time Clint has completed studies in Advanced Biomechanics, Functional Training, Strength Periodization and obtained his Personal Fitness Trainer qualification at IFP. His focus was to grow his passion for coaching into a full time occupation, which he has now achieved.
Clint is a talented athlete himself and has a half marathon PB of 1:21. Clint coaches athletes at all levels, from complete beginners to top athletes. Clint is also passionate about functional and sport conditioning and fitness training. With over 20 years of coaching experience, Clint has a lot to offer to our clients.
Elsabé Hunter
Elsabé was a talented Track 1500m, 3000m and Cross Country athlete at school and competed at Provincial level. After school Elsabé developed a passion for road running. Sadly, due to the demands of family life and her career, Elsabé then stopped participating in sport for many years. Elsabé embarked upon a health and fitness journey in 2008 when she was dismayed to find herself vastly overweight and suffering from a variety of illnesses and injuries as result.
She has a passion for helping others achieve transformation and reverse the effects that an unhealthy, sedentary lifestyle may have had on them. Through personal experience she has a deep understanding of how this may happen to people, and what it takes to reverse the situation.
Elsabé is working towards resuming her own running career and being able to compete in her age group in 10 km and 21 km road and trail races, as well as masters track athletics events.
Elsabé has completed her Exercise Science qualification at the Institute of Fitness Professionals and is continuing her studies into Sport Massage, Sport Nutrition and Personal Fitness Trainer. Elsabé has a lot to offer to clients interested in weight loss, improving health and fitness and achieving overall body transformation.
